Using the Trending chart

Trending chart

Use the Trending chart to see a quick view of your entire organization that focuses on the total productivity and whether productivity is increasing, decreasing, or remaining the same. Green indicates a trend in the correct direction. Red indicates a trend in the wrong direction. If you click the Last Week or Last Month links, you go to the Summary page.

This chart includes the following columns of information.

Column	This column...
Trending	Defines the time span of the information. Trends are based on changes from the previous week or month.
Score	Shows the change in the score, preceded by an arrow that shows whether this team or department's score is trending up or down. You can hover over this number to see the score. To calculate a score, Workforce Intelligence compares the actual production hours accumulated by a department or team to its expected hours. For more information, see Production scoring.
Production	Shows you the percentage of change for production work, when compared to the previous time period. For instance, depending on the time period, it could show you the change between the selected week or month and the one that preceded it. The arrow indicates if the percentage is trending up or down.
Other Work	Shows you the percentage of change for other work, when compared to the previous time period. For instance, depending on the time period, it could show you the change between the selected week or month and the one that preceded it. The arrow indicates if the percentage is trending up or down.
Non Work	Shows you the percentage of change for non work, when compared to the previous time period. For instance, depending on the time period, it could show you the change between the selected week or month and the one that preceded it. The arrow indicates if the percentage is trending up or down.
Idle	Shows you the percentage of change in idle time, when compared to the previous time period. For instance, depending on the time period, it could show you the change between the selected week or month and the one that preceded it. The arrow indicates if the percentage is trending up or down.
Unknown	Shows you the percentage of change in unknown time, when compared to the previous time period. For instance, depending on the time period you chose, it could show you the change between the selected week or month and the one that preceded it. The arrow indicates if the percentage is trending up or down.

Hover your mouse over an application to see additional information, including the actual hours spent in the application and a comparison with the previous time period so you can see if there is a trend in usage.
