Opportunity Details

For the opportunity that you selected on the Opportunity Finder, you can change the time period to see desktop usage for any week, month, quarter, or year for which you have accumulated data. The top of the page shows you the time period that you selected, the production score of the department or team you selected, and the total number of hours for that time period.

The column to the left summarizes the potential savings, applications affected, occurrences, and the number of users affected for the view you have selected. You can view the opportunity by business unit, user, or by trends.

Note: In the following views, you can click the column headings to reverse the sort order.

View by business unit

Click By business unit, to view the name, parent name, number of users, number of occurrences, and the potential savings. The potential savings represents the amount that this type of opportunity presents.

Note: The system calculates the potential savings using an hourly rate that is set by your system administrator. The default rate is $22 per hour.

The pie chart includes a slice for each business unit, or associate if you have drilled all the way down. Click a slice to see the savings for your selection in the center of the chart. You can select multiple business units or associates and see their combined total potential savings. Click again to cancel the selection.

View by user

Click By user to view detailed information about the potential savings this opportunity presents for individual users.

Click the arrow beside a user to see a timeline view for this user. The timeline shows where and when the opportunities happened, as indicated by blue boxes. The top timeline provides details in five-minute segments. The lower timeline reflects the entire shift, with the details highlighted in a gray box. Click and hold the gray box then move the cursor left or right to move through the shift.

View by application/screen

When viewing by application or screen is applicable, such as for the Assisted Sign-on, Auto Notes, and Central Application Exit opportunity types, click View by application to see which applications provide the most savings for the opportunity you selected.

The pie chart includes a slice for each application or application and screen combination. Click a slice to see the savings for that application. Click multiple applications to see their combined total potential savings. Click again to cancel the selection.

View by trend

Click Trends to see which days of the week provide the most savings for the opportunity you selected. The total potential savings represents the amount that this type of opportunity presents during this time period.
